Indian Railway carry 82.25 million tonnes of freight in april

The Indian Ministry of Railways records the revenue earning freight traffic
for the month of April 2012.
The revenue earning freight traffic carried by Indian Railways was 80.25
million tonnes. There is an increase of 2.73 million tonnes over the freight
traffic of 77.52 million tonnes actually carried by the Indian Railways during
the same period last year, reflecting an increase of 3.52%.
